Pro staff member Mike Moore was born and raised
in southern New Jersey, and is the fourth
generation to live on the family farm. Mike is a
member of the IBEW Local 351, where he is a
journeyman electrician. Mike has seven years of
video experience and has compiled stunning
footage of heated whitetail and turkey action.
Mike spends many hours working the family farm
with his father and uncle. Whitetail deer are a
year round obsession for Mike as he spends any
free moment hunting, glassing, setting up trees
and videotaping. Mike has had great success in
harvesting mature whitetails in New Jersey and
attributes a lot of his success to patience and
a rigid management program that allows bucks to
reach maturity. |

Pro Staff member Todd Petrunger was born and
raised in the coalfields of Southern West
Virginia. Petrunger was introduced to the world
of bow hunting at the age of 11 by his father
and best friend. In the Appalachian Mountains,
where the hollows appear to be endless and the
mountains stretch as far as the eyes can see
Petrunger has harvested numerous black bear,
turkey, and deer. His one true passion is
bowhunting the vast spruce-laced ridges and oak
flats that cover his home state. Petrunger’s
most memorable and self-fulfilling moment came
in the fall of 2006 when he took his brother on
his first bow hunt. Sitting side by side, he got
to watch his brother, Josh, harvest his first WV
whitetail buck after only thirty minutes in the
woods. Petrunger is dedicated to his family and
gives praise to the Lord for allowing him to
venture into the great outdoors and experience
the wonders of nature. |

Pro-staff member Eric Price was born and raised
in Salem County, New Jersey, and comes from a
true hunting family. Eric works for the United
States Postal Service, where he is a mail
carrier. Eric has a whitetail addiction that
stems back to his early childhood. He has been
pursuing whitetails with great success since the
age of 11 years old. Eric has harvested mature
bucks in New Jersey and Illinois, and is a
member of the exclusive New Jersey 200 pound
buck club. When he is not in a tree stand, you
can bet he is in a blind calling ducks and
geese. Eric also enjoys the family tradition of
rabbit hunting with the beagles, it is quality
time spent with his father, Ed and grandfather,
Varnell. |

Pro Staff member Brooks Purdy was born and
raised in beautiful Southeast Ohio where he has
chased big whitetails and other game his whole
life. Brooks graduated from Colorado State
University with a degree in Wildlife Biology. He
bounced around after graduation, playing
baseball in TX, working on a large hunting ranch
in Southwest Texas, fighting forest fires out
west (based in Idaho), and ultimately moving
back to Ohio where he is a real estate agent,
specializing in rural/hunting properties.
Brooks has a great passion for bowhunting big
Ohio whitetails. With his competitive nature and
drive to harvest mature whitetails, Brooks is
determined to shoot a 200+ inch whitetail with
his bow some day! Follow Brooks to see the
heart-pounding bowhunting action that Southeast
Ohio offers. |

Pro-staff member Alan Reed was raised in
southern WV and continues to reside there with
his wife. Reed has had a love for the outdoors
since childhood. His father and grandfathers
were all passionate about hunting and passed
this passion on to Reed. He was further blessed
to marry into a hunting family. He enjoys a
variety of outdoor activities; (fishing, turkey
hunting, rabbit hunting, ATV riding), but his
heart is with whitetail hunting. He enjoys the
entire whitetail experience--food plot
preparation, shed hunting, scouting, and always
anticipates what the trail cameras will reveal.
Reed feels blessed by this opportunity to share
his love for the outdoors with family, friends,
and now with the Cole Outdoor’s team and the
hunting community worldwide. |

Pro-staff member Michael Turbyfill discovered
his love for hunting at the age of 14 when a
neighbor invited him to come along for an
afternoon turkey hunt. From the first gobble,
Michael, or “Turb” as all his friends know him,
was hooked. He began buying up calls, books, and
magazines on the sport. Before too long he was
calling up birds for himself and friends, and
then decided to try his luck on the contest
stage. To date, he has been competitive turkey
calling for 4 years and has placed in several
contests, including runner-up in the 2008 North
Carolina State Championship. Turb didn’t begin
to deer hunt until 2003 when he was freshman at
Appalachian State University in Boone, NC. His
love for bow hunting whitetails has blossomed as
well as his passion for filming his hunts, which
came to a climax in 2007 when he harvested his
first buck on film. When he’s not chasing toms
or bucks, you can find him on a mountain trout
stream, or trying to land a river smallmouth.
Michael runs his own lawn care business to help
him pay for school, and luckily for him, grass
doesn’t grow much during hunting season. |

Kenyon Woods |
Kenyon
Woods, A.K.A Booger Woods, 37 years old, married
to Stacy Woods who is very supportive of my
hunting. I started bow hunting, hunting in
general at 14-15 years old. My brother in law
got me going. I cut grass for a full summer to
buy my first Proline compound. After awhile I
went to shooting longbows and recurves. I also
shoot a Hoyt compound. I’m a county rep
for Ohio Bow hunters Association, covering two
counties. I’ve served on committees for our
local NWTF chapters as well as giving seminars
for Women In The Outdoors and being an
instructor on bow fishing. I was also one of
the youngest to become a regular member of the
Professional Bow hunters Society at the age of
24. I also enjoy going up on stage for NWTF
calling contests. If I’m not on the stage
you’ll find me in the crowd. There’s nothing
like the first cool, fall morning to get me
fired up about sitting in the deer stand and
just be able to watch a Whitetail walking
through. I have also chased bear, moose,
caribou, turkey, elk, javelina, coyote and
more. If I’m not hunting or scouting you’ll
still find me in the woods or on the lake. Bow
hunting, to me, is not a sport but a way of
life. I feel it is also important to have a
high respect for wildlife. I make sure to keep
God in the center of my life and what I hold
close to me is family, friends and hunting. |

Pro-staff member Bret Yates was born and raised
in Southern New Jersey, where his whitetail
addiction began on the heels of his grandfather,
Ralph. Yates has a Bachelor of Science from
Drexel University, with a Degree in
Environmental Science. He works for a consulting
engineering firm where he serves as a senior
environmental scientist, and marketing director
for the firm’s governmental contracts. Bret
along with his wife Kathi, and daughter Reese
Ann operate an American Quarter Horse breeding
farm. Yates has pursued whitetails in many
states, but calls his favorite Illinois. His
prized whitetail is 154 5/8” 8 point, harvested
in Calhoun County, Illinois. Yates attributes
much of his success to a strong work ethic and a
very understanding wife. |
